Alhamdulillah, we are a fairly new charity based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, UK. Our journey began in 2016 in response to the lack of local facilities for Ramadan prayers, spaces for women and children to socialise, and Quran language classes.
In our very first year, we hired the local village hall for the entire month of Ramadan and engaged with the community. The positive response from children and women encouraged us to begin running regular language classes.
